Dissolution Ballot
Pursuant to section 33 of the AUUG Constitution, a ballot of members was conducted during February and March of 2008, to vote on a motion to dissolve AUUG. AUUG's Returning Officer, Kevin Dawson, advised that the motion was defeated:

Interested parties and AUUG members are now considering how the organisation
can proceed.

Crawford said in a recent post to the
AUUG Discussion List,
unless sufficient people pull together to make
it work we will fold anyway, and in a much less controlled fashion.
