Afternoon,
We have a large amount of retired hardware we would like to find new homes
for. These are mostly located at the Mawson Lakes campus but some systems
do live on other metropolitan campuses within the state. Any hardware
leaving the University would be provided as is with no warranty implied
and all hardware was known to be functioning at the time of their
retirement.
Collection of the hardware is the responsibility of the new owner and
there may be restrictions on collection times due to staffing or building
security.
What do we have you ask?
Alpha Hardware:
- 2 x AlphaServer 1200 5/533, 512mb, CD, 2x4gb, 1x26gb RAID 0
- 3 x AlphaServer 800 5/500, 256mb, CD, 1x8gb, 3x17gb RAID 5
- 1 x AlphaServer 4100 5/300, 1gb, 3x4gb, 3x9gb, 1x20gb RAID, 1x12GB RAID
- 1 x AlphaServer 1000 4/200
- 1 x DEC 3000/700
- 2 x DEC 3000/600
VAX Hardware:
- 1 x VAX 4000-500
Other:
- 1 x DEC Alpha 500au
- 1 x InfoServer 1000 (7 CD library)
Please contact me off list via email if you are interested in any of it or
need any further details on size, number of cabinets, power requirements,
etc. Preference will be given to developers of any free operating system
(like FreeBSD :-).
Cheers,
Jarrod Sayers
