Dear AUUG Members,

Once again, it is that time of year to turn our thoughts to who will be managing AUUG for the coming financial year.

If you are at all concerned about the way AUUG is run, or you have ideas of how to improve AUUG or AUUG Member Benefits, then you are strongly encouraged to nominate for the AUUG Board.

Click here (PDF document) to find the formal notification for the election and a sample nomination form. This will also be distributed with AUUGN.

It is worth noting that due to a constitutional change made recently all AUUG members who are people (as opposed to Institutional members) may nominate - Student members and Honorary Life members may be nominated for election.

Over the next month descriptions of the work done in each board position will be posted to the AUUG Rules, Policy and Procedures page.

Nominations must be in by 14-apr-2004.

Regards,

Michael Tuke
Returning Officer
