Tutorial Registration Fee

The Tutorial fee allows you to attend pre-selected tutorial sessions, receive session notes for the tutorials selected. Morning and afternoon tea is provided for those attending a morning or afternoon session respectively. Lunch is only provided for those attending a full day tutorial or a morning and afternoon tutorial on the same day.

Conference Registration Fee

The full registration fee covers attendance at all sessions, morning and afternoon tea and lunch on each day of the conference. It also includes one ticket for each of the social functions (the Networking Reception and the Conference Dinner). Delegates also receive the conference folder containing the conference final programme, delegate listing and a copy of the printed proceedings.

Single Day Conference Registration Fee

The day registration fee covers attendance at all sessions for the day nominated, morning and afternoon tea and lunch on that day. Delegates also receive the conference folder containing the conference final programme, delegate listing and a copy of the printed proceedings. It does not include the evening social functions, although tickets for these may be purchased if desired.

Student/Unwaged Registration Fee

The Student/Unwaged registration fee covers attendance at all sessions for the day(s) nominated, morning and afternoon tea on those days, the conference folder containing the conference final programme, delegate listing and a copy of the printed proceedings. It does not include lunch or the evening social functions.

The student/unwaged fee is only available to full-time students or the unemployed.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing after 13 August 2004 will forfeit 50% of registration fees. No refunds will be allowed past 25 August 2004, but substitutions will be accepted up to the beginning of the conference.

Accommodation

A conference rate has been negotiated with the Duxton Hotel Melbourne, being:

Economy Rooms $125.00 per room per night (room only)
Deluxe Rooms $165.00 per room per night (room only)
Breakfast $20.00 per person

Rates are inclusive of 10% GST.

Bookings are to be made directly with the Duxton Hotel, ph: +61 3 9250 1888. Please say that you are attending “the AUUG 2004 Conference” and require this rate.

All rates are based on a per room per night basis and delegates are responsible for settling their own accounts, on departure, directly with the Duxton Hotel. Please note: Any amendments or cancellations to hotel bookings must be made directly with the Duxton Hotel.

Car Parking

Limited valet parking is available at the hotel at a special conference rate of $22 per car (24 hour parking).

Alternately, Kings Parking (next door to the Duxton at 300 Flinders St) offers a rate of $27 per day. This car park closes at 10pm.

Transport

The Duxton Hotel is located opposite Flinders Street Station, with ready access to trains, trams, buses and taxis.

Conference Registration Desk

The Registration Desk will be located in the Vestibule Area on the Ground Level of the Duxton Hotel.
