AUUG 2002 - Measure, Monitor, Control

What?

AUUG 2002 is the annual technical conference of AUUG, the Australian UNIX and Open Systems User Group.

The conference is now over - these pages are retained for posterity (you may find links to speakers' presentations under the conference and tutorial programme sections).

Photos

Photos from the conference are now available online.

When and Where?

The conference was held at the Duxton Hotel, 328 Flinders Street, Melbourne, Australia, from 4 to 6 September 2002. Tutorials were conducted prior to the conference, at the same venue, from 1 to 3 September 2002.

Student Day

AUUG wishes to encourage students to attend and also consider presenting at the Student Day, which will be run during the AUUG conference.  Students should look to contributing short (25 minute) presentations on topics similar to the ones listed.  Presenters at the Student Day will be eligible to attend an industry-based intern programme at a Melbourne CBD-based Unix/Linux/BSD IT services firm as an incentive to present.

AUUG 2002 Conference Student Day is September 3, 2002, from 1.30 to 5.00pm, and attendance is free to all students.  Further details can be found at http://www.auug.org.au/winter/auug2002/student-day.html
